Job Title: Waterproofing & Foundation Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Waterproofing Spray Technician to join our new construction team. You will be the primary line of defense against water damage, responsible for applying specialized coatings to new foundations and ensuring the structural integrity of the home's exterior envelope. This role requires a blend of technical spraying skills, mechanical maintenance, and the ability to document field conditions accurately.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Application & Installation
- Foundation Sealing: Operate high-pressure spray equipment to apply waterproofing membranes to new construction foundations in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Thermal Protection: Precisely install insulation boards over cured membranes to meet energy code requirements.
- Envelope Detailing: Securely hang window wells, install flashing, and apply joint sealants to prevent water intrusion at critical transition points.
2. Logistics & Equipment Care
- Fleet Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on the spray truck, including cleaning pumps, flushing lines, and managing material inventory.
- Site Documentation: Accurately draw field diagrams of foundation footprints to track square footage, material usage, and "as-built" conditions for warranty records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–2 years in waterproofing, commercial painting, or concrete construction preferred.
- Technical Ability: Comfortable operating and troubleshooting specialized spray rigs and industrial machinery.
- Drafting Skills: Ability to read blueprints and create clear, hand-drawn field diagrams.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in outdoor construction environments, handle heavy materials, and navigate unpaved job sites.
