Job DescriptionYour mission: protect quality from the first touch

Imagine intercepting a nonconformity before it ever reaches production. As a GMP Materials Quality Specialist, you’re the first line of defense—sampling, testing, and inspecting incoming materials and components so every product meets stringent regulatory and customer expectations. You’ll own meticulous documentation, partner across teams to resolve issues, and keep the environment safe and orderly.

Impact You’ll Make

  • Execute incoming inspections, sampling, and testing in alignment with GMP and SOPs.
  • Confirm materials meet regulatory and customer specifications; escalate when they don’t.
  • Work inside GMP cleanrooms, following strict gowning, cleaning, and contamination control protocols.
  • Detect, record, and communicate discrepancies or damage with clarity and urgency.
  • Collaborate with operations and cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive quality records and documentation.
  • Assist investigations, error tracking, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Identify, segregate, and document materials when quality concerns arise.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Engage professionally with internal stakeholders and external customers.

What Sets You Up for Success

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of QC/QA experience in a GMP‑regulated setting required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound quality decisions.
  • Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

The Physical Reality

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for the duration of the shift.
  • Comfortable in refrigerated, frozen, controlled room temperature, and ambient warehouse areas.
  • Capable of working on concrete floors for extended periods.
