Cahills Construction is hiring an experienced carpenter with strong roofing skills to join our commercial construction team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and can complete assigned work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roof decking, wood framing, blocking, fascia, and related carpentry.
• Install roofing systems and components, including underlayment, metal panels, trim, flashing, and closures.
• Identify deteriorated materials and complete necessary repairs before roofing installation.
• Read plans, follow manufacturer installation requirements, and maintain watertight details.
• Coordinate with the superintendent and other trades to meet project schedules.
• Follow fall protection requirements and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience with substantial hands-on roofing experience.
• Experience with metal roofing, roof decking, flashing, and exterior trim preferred.
• Ability to measure accurately, perform layout, and use carpentry and roofing tools proficiently.
• Comfortable working at heights, using ladders and lifts, and working outdoors.
• Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
