Our client is seeking a Senior Technology Consultant with strong MSP experience, deep LAN/WAN networking expertise, and hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft‑centric environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, client‑facing work and can troubleshoot independently in the field while supporting a wide range of technologies.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Location: Canton, MI (near Westland, MI)

Responsibilities:

• Support escalated tickets and mentor junior team members.
• Assess client environments and recommend technology improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in the MSP space.
• Maintain documentation including project plans, configurations, and technical notes.
• Implement and support Microsoft‑based solutions (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Perform on‑site client visits across Metro Detroit to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, servers, wireless, VoIP, and connectivity.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

• Expert‑level LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• 3+ years in an MSP environment (required)
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Metro Detroit.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, wireless, and VoIP.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD/GPO, M365, Azure)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certifications: Network+, CCNA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, Security+
• Experience with RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, NinjaOne)
• Experience designing or implementing network upgrades or Microsoft cloud migrations.
