At Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, our Spa Director is integral to the spa's operations, ensuring that every guest experience embodies the luxury, tranquility, and wellness we are renowned for. We seek a dynamic and passionate leader dedicated to overseeing a world-class spa environment, fostering a culture of excellence among our team, and consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Spa Director will manage daily operations, supervise staff, uphold the highest service standards, and collaborate across departments to enhance the Spa's success.


Education & Experience

• Proven experience as a Spa Director, Spa Manager, or in a senior management role within the wellness or hospitality industry (5+ years preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

• Strong knowledge of spa services, therapies, and wellness trends.

• Previous experience in budget management, sales, and financial reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of local and state regulations related to spa operations.

• Experience with inventory control, vendor relationships, and staff scheduling.

• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with both guests and staff.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to analyze financial reports and take strategic action to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Ability to handle sensitive or challenging guest situations with professionalism and poise.

• Passion for wellness, luxury hospitality, and exceptional guest service.


Physical Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be on-site to oversee daily operations.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and assist with light physical tasks when needed (e.g., setting up for special events or promotional displays).
