Job DescriptionPark Rowe Village in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance related experience including but not limited to; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Weekend availability and call out time on a rotating basis is required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and assist in the apartment make ready process for vacant units
- Completion of assigned work orders for repairs and improvements
- Must be competent in all phases of maintenance including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pools, irrigation systems, etc.
- Property and vacant unit inspections
- Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies
- Work with the Property Manager to stay within the budget guidelines in regards to expenditures
- Maintain adequate HVAC, and pool maintenance logs
- Ensures the parts and storage areas are organized and secured
- Use of basic hand tools and power tools
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year of apartment/multi-family experience
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance specific experience
- Customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
