Telecom Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects related to fiber optic and wireless network infrastructure (OSP/ISP). This role is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of IT construction projects working with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with technical specifications and organizational standards.

This role is responsible for working with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with technical specifications and organizational standards. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, including Program/Project Management, Engineering, Permitting, Restoration, and peer teams across underground, aerial, splicing, and site build activities.

Responsibilities include overseeing tower, rooftop, and ground site construction; equipment installation; power and backhaul coordination; and integration with fiber transport networks. This individual also ensures that technology and network requirements are effectively incorporated into all vertical construction initiatives. Incumbents exercise considerable independent judgment in the application of the principles and practices of architectural planning, design and construction, related engineering knowledge and in the administration of a variety of residential projects.
