We’re Hiring: Funeral Assistant

Our funeral home is seeking a compassionate and reliable Funeral Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:
This role assists our funeral directors in providing dignified and professional care to families we serve. Responsibilities include the transfer of deceased individuals from homes, nursing facilities, and hospitals to the funeral home, assisting during funeral services, and helping with small projects around the funeral home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform removals/transfers from homes, nursing homes, and hospitals
• Availability for night, weekend and on-call transfers.
• Assist during visitations, funerals, and services
• Help with general upkeep and small projects around the funeral home
• Provide compassionate, respectful interaction with families and staff

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and dependable
• Must be within a 30 minute radius of East Greenville, Pa
• Able bodied and able to lift.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• People and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in a professional, respectful environment
