Job DescriptionJava/MuleSoft Software Developer – Microservices & Integration | San Diego, CA (Hybrid)
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Java/MuleSoft Software Developer for a 6-month contract opportunity with a leading company in the consumer finance industry. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects in a technology-forward environment focused on data-driven solutions and modern cloud infrastructure.
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite/week in Mission Valley)
Pay: $60 – $65 per hour (W2 only; no C2C, no visa sponsorship)
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (6 months with potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
- Integrate systems using MuleSoft and contribute to event-driven architectures
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness across applications
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and solution architecture discussions
What We’re Looking For:
Required Skills:
- 3–7 years of Java development experience using Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and RDBMS
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team collaboration
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React.js or mobile app development (iOS/Android)
- Exposure to NoSQL databases and cloud-native solutions
- Background in MuleSoft or event-driven system design
