A-Line Staffing is now hiring an RN for a Veteran Home. This will be a full-time position.
Pay Rate - $63.86 an hour paid weekly
Benefits – active after 90 days
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 6:00pm-6:30am- full time
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered and within scope of license.
- Provide nursing care to geriatric residents and monitor changing medical, physical, and psychological needs.
- Complete nursing assessments, care plans, MDS assessments, and quarterly reviews.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation.
- Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide and oversee assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Lead and provide limited supervision to nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned and oversee licensed staff and CNAs on the unit.
- Conduct and participate in staff training, in-service education, and development programs.
- Apply gerontological/geriatric nursing principles and team nursing practices.
- Follow applicable federal, state, and agency laws, rules, regulations, and professional nursing standards.
- Utilize Arizona Management System (AMS) methods and tools for problem-solving, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- RN License in AZ
- Skilled nursing or LTC experience preferred
