Reliance One is excited to partner with Protector Group to bring on a Validation Technician in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to build experience in testing and validation within the automotive industry. If you enjoy working with tools, test equipment, and data collection while being part of a collaborative team—this could be a great fit for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, set up, and perform Protector-related testing in line with automotive specifications
- Operate various test equipment, chambers, and power tools
- Collect and record test result data accurately
- Assist engineers and support project schedules
- Contribute to department activities such as:
- Equipment calibration
- Work instructions
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, practicing good housekeeping at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in testing, manufacturing, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with tensile elongation testers or fixture building is a big plus
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Commitment to safety and detail-oriented work
