We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter person to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and retail customers with accurate and timely parts requests while maintaining high levels of customer service and efficiency. Dealership or Nissan experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians and advisors in identifying and sourcing correct parts
- Handle retail and wholesale parts sales at the counter and over the phone
- Look up parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems
- Process orders, invoices, and returns accurately
- Maintain proper inventory control and organization of parts stock
- Communicate with the service department to ensure timely job completion
- Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures for parts handling and warranty
- Upsell related parts and accessories when appropriate
Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience required (dealership experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Nissan parts systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive components and terminology
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with CDK systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
