Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Infusion Pharmacy (Onsite)
Location: Bentonville, AR 72712 (Onsite)
Pay: $65.75/hr
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Contract: Contract-to-hire
Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with hands-on infusion pharmacy experience to support day-to-day pharmacy operations. This role includes prescription verification/dispensing, patient consultation, sterile compounding, inventory support, and oversight of pharmacy support staff.
Infusion pharmacy experience is required (candidates without direct infusion experience will not be considered).
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
- Assess prescriptions for dosing accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and overall appropriateness
- Provide patient counseling on administration, storage, side effects, and interactions (Rx and OTC)
- Perform sterile compounding and prepare sterile solutions per policy/standards
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Support inventory management of medications and medical supplies
- Collaborate with providers and clinical teams to resolve medication-related issues
- Supervise/guide pharmacy technicians, clerks, interns, and support staff as needed
- Educate patients on proper use of devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors)
Required Qualifications
- PharmD required
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist license (in good standing)
- Hands-on infusion pharmacy experience (required)
- Sterile compounding experience/knowledge
- Strong medication safety, clinical judgment, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
