POSITION: Crisis Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Health
LOCATION: Canton/Macomb
HOURS: Variable
Position Overview: 
<ul>
<li>Completes assessments of clients in crisis within ED of local hospitals to determine appropriate level of care</li>
<li>Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms</li>
<li>Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care</li>
<li>Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED</li>
<li>Completes referrals for follow up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities</li>
<li>Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor?s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Service Field or LPN/RN</li>
<li>Bachelor?s Degree in like field with 2 years? work experience in a Behavioral Health setting</li>
<li>High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting</li>
</ul>
