Job Title: Lead Salesforce Developer
Position Summary:
This role leads and assists other Salesforce developers and team members to manage state-of-the-art Salesforce solutions. These solutions support Sales, Service, Marketing, Product and other technical functions for both customers and internal users. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce platform and a desire to solve big challenging problems.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions for complex issues, including custom development (APEX, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows) and external data integration (middleware tools, Salesforce APIs).
- Provide technical leadership to a team of skilled Salesforce developers, guiding project delivery efforts.
- Assist scrum teams in gathering requirements/user stories and developing or enhancing functionality on the Salesforce platform, including technical analysis and estimates.
- Actively contributes to team discussions, adding value through shared experience and technical expertise to best leverage out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Promote adoption of DevOps processes to efficiently design, develop, test, secure, deploy, maintain, and support the Salesforce platform.
- Translate business requirements into solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and various integrations.
- Design solutions using Salesforce best practices, introducing new technologies when necessary.
- Lead and own work effort estimation, technical blockers, and schedule development along with the PM.
- Participate in peer code reviews and unit testing; mentor and coach junior developers as needed.
- Provide application support through defect analysis, replication, resolution, and root cause identification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance-related issues.
- Support post-deployment activities including knowledge transfer, documentation, and bug fixes.
- Provide prompt updates to leadership on major issues and their resolution status.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Seven or more years of proven experience as a Salesforce developer, with expertise in Sales Cloud, CPQ and Salesforce Billing.
- Mastery of Salesforce development tools including Flows, APEX, Aura framework, Lightning Framework/Web Components, APIs, Platform Events, and the Salesforce Data Model.
- Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and deployment using GearSet/Git
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs, UI frameworks, and event-based integration patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce architecture and design, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, with an emphasis on Financial Services Cloud capabilities.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II required.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications preferred.

Physical Demands:
Minimum physical exertion. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools, or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 5 pounds on a regular basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 75% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse.
Work Environment:
The working conditions will vary between an office environment and a remote home environment. The ideal protected indoor work environment is a clean, non-hazardous work environment. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office or remote home environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a yearly bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is :$140,000—$165,000 USD
