Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based contract position supporting students ranging from Kindergarten through middle grades. You’ll make a direct impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services to students with mild to moderate disabilities in a vibrant, collaborative setting. This full-time role (37.5 hours weekly) runs from late August to late May and offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload of 30-40 students across four connected buildings, all on one campus.

Key Qualifications:

Hold (or be eligible for) NC Speech-Language Pathology licensure and a valid NPI number for Medicaid billing
CCC-SLP, SLP-CFY, and pediatric experience are all welcome
Previous experience in school environments and with K-6 or K-8 populations is highly valued
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Capacity to foster positive relationships and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students ages K-6 or K-8
Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Maintain thorough records and progress documentation in alignment with school and Medicaid requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Provide ongoing support and resources for educators and families to promote student success
