We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems. The IT Support Technician provides IT technical support for the installation, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhanced modifications to individual workstations, servers, telephone system, and related hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

Works directly under the Director of IT with routine assignments and supporting the IT needs of each employee and the organization.

Works one-on-one with staff on resolving issues, troubleshooting computer, application, and printer issues.

Provide onsite computer and network support (hardware & software) to staff.

Serve as contact person for technical support and service maintenance.

Manage on site installations, repair, maintenance of servers, computers, phones, printers and scanners.

Manages and maintains the organization’s IT infrastructure, including its IT inventory control.

Experience running cables, using appropriate tools & making connections.

Trains staff on the effective use of company-supported technology.

Business applications: Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel primarily)

Experience

An associate degree (bachelor’s Preferred) from an accredited educational institution in computer information systems or a directly related field and at least two (2) years’ experience which demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software computer problems. Cyber Security Knowledge preferred.

Experience supporting small- to medium-sized organization on basic technology help desk needs.

Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Office applications, printers and copiers.

Experience with VPN setup and operation (client and server)

Experience with Wireless (Wi-Fi) protocols and security

Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
