Your day as a DevOps Engineer
As an experienced DevOps Engineer at CANDA Solutions, LLC, you will engage in exciting daily responsibilities that center around writing and interpreting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Your expertise will shine as you deploy and manage infrastructure in AWS, focusing on the AWS GovCloud region. You'll provision and maintain essential cloud resources such as EC2, RDS, EKS, VPC, Route 53, S3, and KMS, while working extensively with Kubernetes (EKS) to manage containerized workloads and Helm deployments. Your role will require strong proficiency in YAML configurations and Linux system administration, alongside hands-on experience with Docker-based containers.
You will implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions like Okta, leveraging your understanding of SAML and OIDC protocols. Configuring CI/CD pipelines and managing Git repositories in GitLab, will also be key aspects of your daily tasks, ensuring code integrity through version control while enforcing robust security practices across the board.
What you need to be successful
To excel as an experienced DevOps Engineer at CANDA Solutions, LLC, a diverse skill set is essential. Candidates must possess a Top Secret Security Clearance and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or 3-5 years professional experience. A minimum of three years in a DevOps role is required, with robust experience in cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in IaC tools, particularly Terraform, is crucial. Experience with containerized application deployment using Helm charts. Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, and PowerShell will be invaluable.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical capabilities, and strong communication skills are key attributes that will ensure success in this fast-paced environment.

- Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance.
