Job Description

Automotive Parts Consultant / Counterperson Bridgewater Chevrolet

Family-owned. 26+ years serving the Tri-State. Award-winning service. Now hiring for our Parts team.

At Bridgewater Chevrolet, we've spent more than two and a half decades building something our customers and our team can count on a transparent, no-games dealership where people are treated like family and every department pulls together. Our Parts department is the engine room of that promise. When technicians can get the right part in their hands fast, cars get fixed right the first time, customers get back on the road, and the whole store wins.

We're looking for a Parts Consultant / Counterperson who takes pride in the work, moves with a sense of urgency, and wants to be part of a team that's genuinely on a mission not just clocking in for a job.

About the Role

The Parts Consultant advises, recommends, and sells retail and wholesale parts to all available customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Just as importantly, you're the link between the parts room and the service bays: physically running parts out to our technicians so repairs stay on schedule and our customers stay happy. You'll contribute to the success of the dealership by selling parts effectively to internal and external clients while hitting individual and departmental sales goals.

Who Thrives Here

Our culture is built on a few simple ideas the "100% Basics," treating teammates and customers with respect, doing the little things right every day, and getting a little better than we were yesterday. The people who love working here tend to:

Show up on time, in uniform, ready to go

Take ownership if a tech is waiting on a part, you're already moving

Communicate clearly and honestly with teammates and customers

Want to learn, be coached, and grow into bigger roles over time

Understand that a great parts department makes the service department great and a great service department is how we've kept customers coming back for 26+ years
