Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Mission Assurance Specialist to support a federal contract in Ft. Meade, MD.
Desired Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting mission assurance, continuity of operations (COOP), emergency management, business continuity, resilience planning, or related programs.
- Experience updating and validating Mission Essential Functions (MEFs) through Business Process Analysis (BPA) activities.
- Experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify operational risks, dependencies, and impacts to mission-essential functions.
- Experience providing analysis and recommendations to support mission assurance strategies, continuity planning, policy development, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Knowledge of Federal and DoD policies, directives, and interdependencies related to emergency management, continuity, resilience, and critical infrastructure protection.
- Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and exercising continuity plans, procedures, and policies to ensure mission execution during all-hazards events.
- Experience supporting contingency planning, cyberspace operations, continuity programs, and emergency management activities.
- Experience participating in continuity exercises, emergency management events, working groups, and mission assurance meetings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Certification
- FEMA Continuity Excellence Series (CES) Level I Professional Continuity Certification or equivalent continuity, emergency management, or resilience certification.
