The Bilingual Leasing Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional leasing experience for prospects and residents while providing clear communication in both English and Spanish. This role supports the leasing process from first contact through move‐in and plays a key part in maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction within the apartment community.
Leasing Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours, answer inquiries, and guide prospects through the leasing process in English and Spanish.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, online leads, and walk‐ins with prompt, professional communication.
- Assist applicants with rental applications, required documentation, and qualification steps.
- Prepare and maintain accurate leasing files, guest cards, and follow‐up communication.
- Support marketing efforts, including online listings, outreach, and community events.
- Assist with lease signings, move‐ins, and renewals.
Resident Support
- Serve as a primary bilingual point of contact for residents.
- Translate conversations, notices, and documents to ensure clear understanding.
- Help residents with service requests, account questions, and community policies.
- Support resident retention through positive interactions and timely follow‐up.
Administrative & Office Duties
- Maintain organized leasing and resident files.
- Update property management software with accurate notes, applications, and leasing activity.
- Assist with rent collection, payment posting, and basic reporting.
- Support office operations, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and supply management.
Community & Maintenance Coordination
- Enter and track maintenance requests and communicate updates to residents.
- Assist with unit inspections, move‐out processes, and community curb‐appeal efforts.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely service and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or property management preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‐paced environment.
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar) is helpful.
- High school diploma required; additional training or certifications are a plus.
