We are a respected and client-focused family law firm in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled attorney with a strong foundation in New Jersey family law. The ideal candidate is confident in litigation, comfortable managing a full caseload, and committed to providing high-quality, empathetic representation.
Responsibilities
-Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and post-judgment issues
-Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
-Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials
-Represent clients in court, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution
-Communicate consistently and compassionately with clients, keeping them informed and involved
-Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective case strategies
Qualifications
-J.D. from an accredited law school
-Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
-4+ years of family law experience preferred
-Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills
-Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
-High attention to detail, strong organization, and excellent client-management skills
Benefits
Salary: $120,000 to $190,000 + bonus
