Position: General Sonographer – Mobile Ultrasound
Location: Panama City, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $40+/hour based on experience
Facility Type: Mobile Diagnostic Imaging / Post-Acute Healthcare Services
This is a mobile ultrasound position, with the sonographer traveling to nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other serviced locations to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using portable equipment. A company vehicle is provided.
Key Requirements
- ARDMS or CCI registration for vascular ultrasound — Required
- General and Vascular ultrasound experience/modalities — Required
- ECHO experience — Plus
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program — Required
- Valid driver's license — Required
- ARDMS certification — Required
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption — Required
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direct supervision
Schedule & Compensation
- $40+/hour, based on experience
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Weekend work based on caseload and paid as overtime
- On-call requirements discussed during interview
- $2/hr differential after 2 PM; $3/hr after 10 PM; $4/hr weekends
