Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead, coach, and train a team of skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers in repair and maintenance activities. This role involves ensuring accountability for maintenance activities, performing frontline troubleshooting, and directing safety awareness programs. The position also requires planning daily activities for maintenance crews and providing the necessary tools, materials, and technical direction for maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers.
- Assume accountability for maintenance activities during respective shifts.
- Perform frontline troubleshooting on equipment.
- Direct safety awareness programs and assist in area safety analysis.
- Plan and provide resources for maintenance and capital work.
- Conduct root cause analysis and employ '5-why' techniques to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Department to improve equipment reliability.
- Develop and manage maintenance work procedures and standard practices.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to minimize waste.
- Assist other Maintenance Supervisors as needed.
- Effectively manage labor issues within the work area.
- Perform administrative tasks to manage the workforce.
- Communicate with upper-level management and work with contractors, vendors, and employees.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of Maintenance Supervision experience.
- 1+ years of leadership in a Union Manufacturing facility.
- Experience in an Industrial trade such as Electrician, Millwright, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- Proficiency in maintenance supervision, management, hydraulics, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CMMS, PM schedules, and press maintenance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
Business growth through out 2025 - still hiring millwrights and electricians - need more leadership due to this
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
