ComResource is looking for a Data Engineer.
We need someone to assist in installing, configuring, and operationalizing the Databricks Lakehouse platform in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Databricks workspaces, clusters, and storage integrations
- Implement security controls including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and cluster policies
- Configure Unity Catalog for governance and fine-grained access control
- Establish network security and private connectivity
- Integrate logging and monitoring with enterprise SIEM tools
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation
- Manage upgrades, patching, and platform troubleshooting
- Document standards and transition knowledge to internal teams
Essentials:
- 5+ years in cloud data platform administration
- 2+ years of hands-on Databricks experience
- Expertise with Unity Catalog and governance controls
- Strong cloud networking and security knowledge (Azure or AWS)
- Terraform and CI/CD experience
Desired:
- Databricks certifications
- FinOps or cost optimization experience
- Experience supporting migrations or proof-of-concepts
