About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a well-established early childhood education organization in hiring a Director of Early Childhood Programs. This high-impact leadership role oversees several early learning centers and community-based initiatives designed to support children and families across Miami-Dade County.
The portfolio includes multiple early childhood education sites funded through a combination of federal, state, and community grants. The Director is responsible for operational leadership, compliance, staff development, curriculum quality, and outcomes that support school readiness across all centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple early learning locations.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and grant-funded program requirements.
- Support, mentor, and develop large teaching and administrative teams.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, instructional quality, and readiness goals across centers.
- Drive continuous quality improvement through data, reporting, and accountability measures.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, support staff, and maintain consistent standards.
- Partner with senior leadership on long-term planning, community partnerships, and program enhancements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven multi-site leadership experience in early childhood education settings.
- 5-10+ years of supervisory experience in early learning environments.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks related to early childhood programs.
- Demonstrated success managing operations, curriculum delivery, and staff development.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent combination of experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field (subject to approval based on regulatory standards).
- Experience working within grant-funded, non-profit, or heavily regulated environments.
- Background in data-driven program improvement and performance reporting.
Not a Fit
- Single-site directors without broader multi-center or regional oversight.
