Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree—or equivalent—in School Psychology
- Valid approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
- Demonstrated experience performing comprehensive special education evaluations for students across all grade levels
- Strong ability to communicate with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to timelines and compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete special education evaluations for a preschool-through-grade-12 caseload
- Provide direct psychological services in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and allied professionals in multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for students and families
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation to meet district and regulatory requirements
- Flexibly adapt responsibilities if needed based on the evolving needs of the school community
