Job Description We are currently seeking a 1st Shift INSPECTION TECHNICIAN For a local TROY, OH manufacturing company. Job Summary: Required to use a variety of tools and test equipment to facilitate proper inspection and verification that finished goods are manufactured in accordance with American Advanced Assemblies quality system as well as specific customer and industry required standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect components before assembly, analyze trial products during development, or test finished goods as needed to implement and maintain controlled processes that ensure finished product is compliant with all applicable quality standards.
- Record and analyze inspection results to certify or reject specific products. Follow up with Continuing Improvement Manager with inspection results.
- Communicate with all employees as needed in order to coordinate inspection processes in a timely and efficient fashion without hindering work flow.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use hands to facilitate the assembly and inspection of complex electronic products.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
