Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various K-12 educational and other public work construction projects. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate public works and K-12 construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
  • Oversee personnel management and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and clients.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success.
  • Address any project-related issues or challenges promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in Public works and education projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to educational facilities.
  • Excellent personnel management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing multi-family, charter, public works, commercial, library, fire station, parks, and schools projects is a plus.
  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
