Join a growing company in the construction industry specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection. This hands-on Project Manager opportunity oversees projects from award through closeout, coordinating teams across estimating, purchasing, production, field operations, and customer service. You’ll help deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award through final completion.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope to confirm project requirements.
- Develop and maintain schedules with fabrication, purchasing, field teams, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, labor hours, invoices, and material expenses.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, approvals, and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, engineers, and vendors.
- Identify project risks, delays, and cost impacts, and develop solutions to keep work on track.
- Coordinate fabrication and installation while supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills:
\n

- At least 2 years of project management experience in steel fabrication, construction, metal manufacturing, or an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or construction project workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, contracts, and specifications.
- Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and project documentation simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with experience working alongside general contractors, fabricators, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
