Job Summary:

As an Automotive Sales Consultant you will be responsible for offering our customers a Simple, Worry Free Car BuyingTM experience. Automotive Sales Consultants work with our customers to ensure they purchase a vehicle they really want by connecting them with cars they love while offering a fair and transparent car buying process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Approach and greet prospective buyers and customers in a timely manner and offer assistance as necessary.
  • Actively listen to customers and ask appropriate questions to ensure a successful customer experience.
  • Conduct business in a manner that is deemed professional and ethical.
  • Answer customer phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Offer test drives to all prospective buyers while following proper procedures.
  • Ensure customers understand the vehicles operating features prior to operating the vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Manager before, during, and after a sale takes place.
  • Follow up with potential customers using the leads list provided as well as creating your own leads list.
  • Maintain knowledge of all vehicles within the dealership and stay up to date on all required training.
  • Follow up with all prospective buyers and current customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Create monthly sales goals and strive to meet those goals.
  • Assists with customers by resolving complaints or providing information as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal customer service skills and enjoy working with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-directed and able to take initiative.
  • Skill in time management with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Experience sufficient to understand the duties and responsibilities of the position.
