Job DescriptionSenior-Level Server Operating System Engineer (Windows / UNIX / Linux)

Location: Offutt AFB, NE
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required

Kaimetrix is looking for a Senior-Level Server Operating System Engineer with deep experience in both Windows and Linux server platforms. This engineer will lead efforts to modernize, secure, and automate server infrastructure as part of an integrated enterprise IT environment.

Responsibilities:

Deploy, maintain, and optimize Windows Server (2019 or later) and Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 or later) environments
Utilize Redhat Satellite Server, Ansible Automation Platform, and Identity Manager for Linux systems
Administer Microsoft Active Directory, MECM, and WSUS for Windows environments
Integrate and support enterprise services including LDAP, DNS, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Automate server provisioning and patching to support IaaS/PaaS models and improve system performance
Ensure security and compliance with applicable DoD and industry policies
Provide technical input to architecture and engineering documentation, and participate in roadmap and lifecycle planning sessions

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure
A Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years of experience; a Bachelor’s for 1 year

Certifications: Intermediate or higher-level Microsoft Server or Redhat Linux certification
