- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing 50–75 lbs
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet DOT (49 CFR §391.11) requirements
- Capable of understanding traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports
