Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active OT license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Solid understanding of child development, sensory processing, and motor skills
- Adaptability in dynamic school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educational teams and families
- Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
- Commitment to evidence-based practices
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students per IEP and 504 plan requirements
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Document treatment sessions and progress in compliance with school policies
- Consult on classroom accommodations and modifications
- Contribute to team meetings and multidisciplinary planning
- Provide support and training for staff as needed
