Position Overview
Mend 247 LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Repair & Maintenance Technician to support short-term rental properties throughout Nashville. This role focuses on quick-turn repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response to ensure properties meet high guest-ready standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls
- Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical (basic), HVAC support, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance troubleshooting
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and guest complaints
- Inspect properties between guest stays to identify and resolve issues
- Repair or replace fixtures, locks, doors, cabinets, and hardware
- Install and assemble furniture, appliances, TVs, and wall mounts
- Test and reset smart locks, thermostats, Wi-Fi equipment, and basic tech
- Document work completed and report damages with photos and notes
- Coordinate with cleaning teams and property managers
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in safe condition
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or property repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
- Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in occupied or guest-ready properties
- Professional, respectful, and detail-oriented
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance, handyman, or property repair work
- Must be insured (general liability insurance required)
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Ownership of basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and respond to urgent service calls
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with short-term rental or hospitality properties
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience (certifications a plus)
- Familiarity with smart home devices and access systems
