Senior Computer and Information Systems Manager

Location: Hybrid – Downtown Washington, DC

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Computer and Information Systems Manager to lead strategic initiatives across cloud and enterprise IT environments. This role will oversee planning, integration, and management of secure, modern, and scalable systems. You’ll work closely with technical teams to implement architectures and policies that meet evolving operational goals.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

  • Must be able to pass a government background check.

  • Must hold one or more industry-standard certifications, such as:

    • PMP, ITIL, CISSP

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

    • Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate IT system operations, from strategy to delivery.

  • Lead teams managing enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructures.

  • Oversee system modernization, cloud migration, and operational support efforts across platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, governance frameworks, and data protection standards.

  • Develop operational procedures, system policies, and performance metrics for IT operations.

  • Interface with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to align systems with mission objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex IT environments.

  • Strong foundation in systems engineering and enterprise architecture.

  • Demonstrated success managing cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Deep knowledge of IT operations, governance, and lifecycle management.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
