Unite Contracting seeks a Class D construction driver to transport lumber, building materials, equipment, tools, and mixed construction materials between local job sites. This is a permanent construction driver role with benefits and overtime. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role operates pickup and flatbed trucks while supporting efficient, safe construction-site coordination.
Responsibilities
- Operate pickup and flatbed trucks safely and efficiently.
- Deliver lumber, building materials, equipment, tools, and mixed construction materials.
- Load materials and construction equipment for transport.
- Secure loads according to safety requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries and vehicle activities with local job sites.
- Travel between a single local job site or multiple local job sites as assigned.
- Follow applicable construction and vehicle safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of construction driving experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class D driver's license.
