Allen Integrated Assemblies (AIA) is seeking a Stockroom Supervisor to join our team. In this role, the Stockroom Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the stockroom in the AIA division. In addition, the person in this role will also be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, timely receiving and shipping of product, and accurate component part assembly. This position will sit in the manufacturing environment at Allen Integrated Assemblies located in Macungie, PA. The hours are based on production which are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. This is an onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Stockroom staff to ensure tasks are delegated and processes are followed to meet department expectations.
  • Manage the control of inventory for AIA and AO.
  • Manage the storage of parts in the stockroom to include organization and optimization of stockroom layout for efficient material flow and in compliance with safe handling and preservation of materials, i.e refrigeration required for certain components.
  • Utilize FIFO process for parts/inventory.
  • Ensure daily cycle counts are performed by team and that inventory discrepancies are resolved with accurate inventory maintained in the ERP system.
  • Manage the component prep process for the PC Boards department employees; keep work orders on schedule, keep track of parts to prep for the assemblies, and make labels for PC boards as well as general labels for parts, bags, etc. for general purpose or assembly to be done in that department.
  • Ensure that requisitions from departments for parts needed are received and that parts are picked per the requisition and ready for pick up.
  • Manage Receiving process for AIA and AO, including verification of the shipping paperwork and updates to the ERP system.
  • Manage the shipping of product or documents via FEDEX and UPS for both AIA and AO; print out required paperwork and update ERP system for product shipped.
  • Package product including use of shrink wrapping for the larger products or pallet of products.
  • Coordinate the delivery of larger parts from Shipping to Stockroom by use of forklift for larger pallets of product.
  • Member of the AIA management team; participate in weekly management meeting.
  • Communicate and collaborate with department supervisors of AIA or AO as it relates to parts needed or work orders to be filled.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years prior experience in a Stockroom or Inventory leadership role.
  • Experience using ERP system is helpful.
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
