Systems Engineer (Controls Engineering - Hands-On Robotics)
Overview:
We are working with a cutting-edge engineering company developing advanced robotic systems, seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer to join a small, deeply technical team. This is a hands-on role focused on real-world implementation—not just theory or simulation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work directly with robotic systems on a daily basis
- Develop and implement control algorithms
- Model and analyze dynamic systems
- Collaborate across electrical and mechanical domains
- Build, test, and iterate on electromechanical systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems (actuators, sensors, etc.)
- Strong foundation in control theory and practical implementation
- Experience working across electrical and mechanical systems
- Programming experience in any language (C/C++ helpful but not required)
- Comfort working in a lab environment—building, testing, and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of system dynamics and basic kinematics
Experience:
- 1–5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or
- Master’s degree with strong internships or hands-on project experience
Compensation:
- Base salary range: $100K – $120K
