Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Forklift Warehouse Worker to join our full-time warehouse team in Mountain Top, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, stack, load, and unload materials throughout our warehouse facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and adhering to strict safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to transport raw materials, palletized goods, and finished products throughout the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming freight from containers, delivery trucks and load outgoing shipments efficiently and securely.
- Inventory & Staging: Palletize, stack, wrap, and stage goods in designated storage locations or shipping bays.
- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pull materials or orders according to pick sheets or digital warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Inspections & Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Warehouse Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow all OSHA and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1+ years of experience operating powered industrial forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).
- Certification: Forklift certification or ability to complete internal certification upon hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read order sheets, verify SKUs, and track inventory accurately.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
