ER Holding Registered Nurse
Location: Worcester, MA
Rate: Up to $2225.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: 12-hour shifts; days and nights available; every other weekend/holiday required
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- 2+ years of telemetry experience required
- Massachusetts RN license required
- ER, observation, or overflow/surge experience preferred
- Must be able to pass medication and telemetry exams during orientation; one attempt is allowed for each
- Must be available to start 11/10/2026
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local and travel candidates accepted
Certifications:
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Care for adult and geriatric patients in an ER surge/overflow setting
- Provide care for telemetry and observation patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
- Start and maintain IVs and perform phlebotomy
- Manage dysrhythmias and administer medications
- Care for patients requiring respiratory support and chest tubes
- Provide care involving spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidurals
- Float within the ED to care for overflow and surge patients
- Complete required medication and telemetry testing during orientation
- Chart using Epic
