Role Description The Framing Carpenter role is a full-time, on-site position located in Lake Wylie, SC. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials to construct walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components according to blueprints and project specifications. The role involves using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently, installing framing for doors, windows, and stairways, and assisting with finish carpentry tasks as needed. The Framing Carpenter will work closely with supervisors and crew members to maintain job site safety, meet project timelines, and ensure high-quality workmanship. This position requires consistent attendance, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the physical capacity to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.\n
Qualifications

• Solid carpentry and framing skills, including experience constructing structural components for residential or commercial buildings.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with a strong focus on safe operation and proper maintenance.

• Experience with finish carpentry tasks such as trim installation, doors, and other detailed woodwork.

\n

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.

\n

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.

\n

• Reliable transportation to the Lake Wylie, SC job site and ability to work full-time, including occasional overtime as needed.

• Physical ability to perform construction work, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights.

\n

• Prior experience in construction or framing carpentry preferred; relevant apprenticeships or trade school training are a plus.
