Job DescriptionProject Coordinator II / Release Analyst – Release & Engagement CoordinatorJob OverviewcFocus Software is seeking a Project Coordinator II / Release Analyst (Release & Engagement Coordinator) to support the Security Tools and Infrastructure Modernization (STIM) contract with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Release & Engagement Coordinator will assist in managing software release activities, tracking engagements, and ensuring effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders.Responsibilities

  • Support release planning, scheduling, and coordination across development, test, and production environments.
  • Assist with maintaining release calendars, tracking milestones, and documenting release processes.
  • Ensure all release activities are documented and communicated to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Support change management activities, including risk assessments and approval processes.
  • Coordinate engagement between technical teams, QA, and operations staff to ensure release readiness.
  • Assist in facilitating release readiness reviews, retrospectives, and reporting activities.
  • Track and report on release metrics and process improvements.
  • Maintain release documentation, SOPs, and related artifacts.

Required Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in IT project coordination, release management, or change management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and ITIL frameworks for release/change management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT projects or software development programs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.
  • Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) desirable.

Clearance Requirement

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Moderate to High-Risk) clearance.
