Job description:
Maxon Plastics, Inc., a small, family-owned plastics injection molding company, is looking for a Plastic Injection Mold Operator to join our team in Batavia, IL.
The Plastic Injection Mold Operator operates injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Separates parts from runners, or uses separating drums, packages parts, and puts boxes in inventory.</li>
<li>Maintain Inventory</li>
<li>Adds plastic pellets into the hopper to keep machines running.</li>
<li>Mixes thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments in the mixing machine according to the formula.</li>
<li>Grinds scrap plastic for reuse.</li>
<li>Various other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, certification</li>
<li>Manufacturing experience.</li>
<li>Able to lift 55 pounds occasionally.</li>
<li>Constantly operate production equipment.</li>
<li>Keep up with multiple tasks so production runs smoothly.</li>
