Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care position in South Dakota, requiring an active SD or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

Additional Information
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care using the full nursing process — assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Support orientation and training of new team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge care
