Sigmatech is seeking space instructional experts to fill high-profile training, instruction, and training management positions in support of an emerging space-based capability. Contractors will work alongside the government customer to investigate, recommend, utilize, and integrate advanced training technologies into system instructional models to produce highly effective space warfighters.

In this position, the contractor will be responsible for:

  • Plan of Instruction (POI) development, annual review, and update (as required)
  • Initial Satellite Operator Training to include Qualification Training, Advanced Training, and Upgrade Training
  • Development of Mission Essential Tasks, Mission Directives, Policy, and Guidance
  • Staffing of training products for customer validation/approval
  • Reviewing, maintaining, and updating training courseware products
  • Assisting the government customer in providing system qualification training (approximately 3 classes per year)
  • Management of instructional resources (student management, classroom scheduling, instructional setup, etc.)
  • Documenting student performance
  • Maintaining student records and training reports



10+ years DoW system instruction, training product development, training management

10+ years space operations

TS/SCI and Special Access Program Eligible

B.S. in related field, Master's Degree preferred (Note: additional education/certificates in lieu of experience will be considered)

Exceptional Speaking and Writing Skills

Familiarity with DoW Instructional System Design Compliance

  • SPFG2024 13-602V3 (Spacecrew Standardization and Evaluation Program)

In compliance with California's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $165,000 to $200,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
