Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide IT support across multiple locations, ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, take initiative, and thrive in a role with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to employees across 10 locations, primarily through remote assistance, with occasional travel to onsite locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, and other hardware.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, ensuring proper functionality and user access.
• Respond to service desk tickets promptly, addressing and documenting issues effectively.
• Perform updates and patches to systems, including occasional evening or weekend work.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software as required.
• Communicate clearly with team members and employees, providing guidance and support.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent technical problems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Windows 11 and related hardware.
• Hands-on experience managing Active Directory.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without requiring close supervision.
• Availability to perform occasional evening or weekend tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license for travel to onsite locations when required.
• Experience providing IT support in a multi-location environment is a plus.
