Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced LTL Shipping Clerk / Shipping Scheduler to join a growing warehouse and distribution team in Jurupa Valley, CA. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a reliable, self-motivated candidate with previous shipping experience who is looking for a stable, long-term position.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating LTL shipments, preparing shipping documents, creating Bills of Lading, and working with major shipping systems and carriers. This position combines shipping administration with hands-on warehouse support.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Lunch: 30 minutes

Job Responsibilities

Schedule and route LTL shipments and coordinate daily pickups and deliveries.
Create ASNs and UCC-128 documents for customers.
Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) both online and manually.
Process shipments using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and Pacejet or similar third-party shipping software.
Use NetSuite for shipping, inventory, and order-related functions.
Allocate inventory and process manufacturing and sales orders.
Monitor incoming and outgoing freight to ensure shipments arrive on time and in good condition.
Review work orders and pick tickets to determine products being moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Assist with loading and unloading containers when needed.
Communicate with customers regarding will-call orders and shipment information.
Maintain accurate freight and shipping records.
Follow customer/vendor shipping and handling requirements.
Assist with general warehouse duties and other projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have previous LTL Shipping Clerk, Shipping Scheduler, Logistics, or related shipping experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, Pacejet, NetSuite, handheld/RF scanners, Bills of Lading, and international shipping documentation is strongly preferred. Previous forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus.

Candidates must also have basic computer skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures depending on the season and be available for overtime during peak periods when necessary.
