Lead Manager & Office Manager (Real Estate)
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a dynamic Real Estate Lead Manager & Office Manager to join our growing family of real estate investment companies in the Kansas City metro area. This is a blended role, supporting both our single-family home buying companies (KC Property Group and Happy Home Buyers) and our multifamily management and investment firms (UnitedPoint Communities and UnitedPoint Capital).
The primary function of this position is serving as the Real Estate Lead Manager—the first point of contact for home sellers reaching out to KC Property Group and Happy Home Buyers. You’ll work as the first contact of lead intake, build rapport on the phone, qualify leads, and help drive deals forward.
The secondary function is serving as the Office Manager at UnitedPoint Communities and UnitedPoint Capital. When lead flow is lighter, your focus will shift to organizing office systems, improving operational workflows, and supporting corporate functions like HR, AP, data entry, and payroll.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Real Estate Lead Manager Responsibilities (Primary Focus)
- Respond to inbound leads within 5 minutes.
- Follow up with leads relentlessly.
- Screen and qualify sellers based on motivation, timeline, and property details.
- Build rapport and handle seller conversations with confidence and professionalism.
- Set appointments and assign follow-ups using our CRM (Podio).
- Stay on top of all seller communications via calls, texts, and emails.
- Send contracts through DocuSign and manage offer flow.
- Analyze comps, run numbers, and determine ballpark offers using MLS.
- Track deal progress, coordinate closings, and follow up with title companies to see deals through closing.
- Engage and find buyers
- Be a part of negotiations for the best disposition strategy on each deal.
- Ensure CRM data is clean, accurate, and up to date.
Office Manager Responsibilities
- Keep the corporate office running smoothly—think: supplies, calendars, Quickbooks, reminders, and documentation.
- Critical back-end support for our multifamily operations and the general office environment.
- Create and implement administrative procedures and ensure they’re followed company-wide.
- Organize meetings and take proactive follow-up actions on next steps and deliverables.
- Maintain company records, HR files, and employee onboarding documentation.
- Assist with accounts payable, payroll prep, benefits enrollment, and reporting.
- Serve as the go-to resource for helping team members stay on top of systems and processes.
- Support leadership with reporting and meeting preparation.
PAY & BENEFITS
- $50,000–$55,000/year base salary with higher earning potential from commissions and bonuses.

Real Estate Lead Manager Traits
- Ability to drive a conversation, be quick on your feet, confident on the phone.
- Can handle rejection and keep the conversation moving.
- Comfortable working in an environment that ebbs and flows based on inbound lead volume.
- Excellent judgment on when to follow up, ability to be trained on comping single family homes, and enjoy talking to people.
- Relentlessly follows up and desires to play a critical role in leads turning into sales.
Office Manager Traits
- Hyper-organized, detail-obsessed, and proactive.
- Loves making order out of chaos—documents, calendaring, processes.
- Takes initiative to solve problems before they become issues.
- Reliable, resourceful, and positive in a team setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in office management, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Podio preferred), Microsoft Office, and basic Excel functions.
- Some knowledge of real estate.
- Prior office management, HR, or AP/payroll experience is a plus.
- College degree preferred but not required.
