We are partnering with a premier, fast-growing regional subcontractor specializing in site preparation and structural trade solutions for the residential and multi-family homebuilding sectors. They are seeking a dedicated, hands-on field leader to oversee site-level performance and subcontractor coordination in the greater Raleigh market
POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Operations Manager will take full ownership of daily jobsite execution across active residential and multi-family construction projects. This role is responsible for driving field efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, tracking job costs, and managing relationships with trade partners, site crews, and regional homebuilders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Execution & Trade Oversight

Direct daily field operations across multiple residential and multi-family job sites in the local market

Oversee trade crews and sub-tier contractors to ensure work aligns with project plans, quality standards, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules

Resolve on-site technical issues, eliminate workflow bottlenecks, and manage logistics for tools, equipment, and material deliveries
Financial Performance & Cost Controls

Track project scopes and job-costing line items to protect margins and drive site profitability.

Review and approve field invoices, vendor charges, and material receipts against established job budgets.

Monitor labor efficiency and material usage to mitigate cost overruns and material waste.
Partner & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary operational liaison to general contractors, land developers, builder partners, and municipal inspectors.

Coordinate project milestones and daily field schedules with trade teams, utility providers, and client reps to ensure seamless site progress.
Safety & Team Leadership

Maintain zero-compromise OSHA standards across all active jobsites, ensuring full compliance from employee crews and subcontractors.

Promote a team-first, solution-oriented work environment that emphasizes accountability, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Experience: 3+ years of field management, site supervision, or project coordination experience within residential, multi-family, site development, concrete, or trade contracting environments.

Site Mobility: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required for daily local jobsite travel.

Strong understanding of field operations, site logistics, and trade scheduling.
